2010 - Innovation Grant by Department of Science and
Technology (DST), Government of India
For developing one of the world's smallest GPS Vehicle Tracking System - VFFY and an
amazingly feature rich, intuitive Software Solution, TechnoPurple was selected amongst the
Top 10 Start-Ups in India by the coveted The Economic Times Power of Ideas Programme
organized in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. Of India
and IIM Ahmedabad. A grant of Rs. 5 Lakh was awarded by Mr. Narayan Murthy - Chairman,
Infosys and Prof. Samir Barua - Director, IIM Ahmadabad.
Today, VFFY has brought all supply chain stakeholders on one platform, something that was
unheard earlier - vehicle fleet, consignor, consignee, driver, transporter and emergency
responders. TechnoPurple takes pride in the fact that VFFY devices are built to last for
decades. Vehicles will get bought and sold, but VFFY shall never get old.
